Tommy Pritchard has spent more than 30 years at the intersection of energy capital markets and field operations, building companies, raising capital and managing multi-basin portfolios across multiple commodity cycles.

He founded Pritchard Capital Partners, a 50-person energy investment bank across six offices that raised more than $15 billion for independent E&P companies. As CEO of Empire Petroleum Corporation (NYSE American: EP), he built a multi-state operated E&P from under $10 million in market cap to over $400 million at its peak.

As Chief Executive Officer, Tommy sets ACP’s strategy and leads its acquisitions.

Decatur Pritchard came to oil and gas from the institutional side of finance. Before joining ACP, he spent five years managing balance sheet risk, counterparty exposure and structured products at major U.S. financial institutions.

On the sell side, he managed counterparty risk for an equities trading desk and oversaw portfolio management across corporate debt, mortgage finance and asset-backed securitization. On the buy side, he ran balance sheet and interest rate forecasting for over $50 billion in consumer lending.

As Chief Operating Officer, Decatur runs ACP’s corporate operations, including finance, accounting and technology, building the back office that lets the field team focus on what they do best: operating wells.
